Between Selves

A portrait study in three movements. The triptych structure explores the distance between the self we present and the states we inhabit. Each sequence is an attempt to trace the interval between constructed identity and embodied presence.

Street Microcosms

In Hanoi, public thoroughfares simultaneously functioning as highly insular, private rooms. Dense tangles of merchandise act as physical and psychological walls, creating self-contained worlds where vendors work and live, right on the public sidewalk.​ This series studies the blurred line between open, public shopfronts and deeply personal spaces.​

Figure / Ground

This series examines the human scale within landscapes. Figures appear small, set against environments that exceed them. The images are about the imbalance between human lives and the vastness of the natural world.
