Street Microcosms
In Hanoi, public thoroughfares simultaneously function as highly insular, private rooms. Dense tangles of merchandise act as physical and psychological walls, creating self-contained worlds where vendors work and live, right on the public sidewalk. This series studies the blurred line between open, public shopfronts and deeply personal spaces.
Realms of Reverie
This ongoing project explores the invisible boundary between the pragmatic, articulated world of adults and the silent, imaginative realm of childhood. Through a series of contemplative portraits utilizing glass and windows as physical and metaphorical barriers, this ongoing project documents the solitary moments of wonder and introspection where children disconnect from our reality to inhabit their own.
