Between Selves

This ongoing project is a portrait study in three movements. The triptych structure explores the distance between the self we present and the states we inhabit. For each triptych, the photos are taken in one sitting. The first image is posed, while the two others reveal multiple sides of the same identity. Each sequence is an attempt to trace the interval between constructed identity and embodied presence.
