Street Microcosms

In Hanoi, public thoroughfares simultaneously function as highly insular, private rooms. Dense tangles of merchandise act as physical and psychological walls, creating self-contained worlds where vendors work and live, right on the public sidewalk.​ This series studies the blurred line between open, public shopfronts and deeply personal spaces.
